Vanilla Bean Waffles

I love making breakfast for my family during the weekends- we can all eat together and have a little something ‘special’, which in our case- Vanilla Bean Waffles. On weekdays, we all have different morning schedules: my mother wakes up early to go to work, I get up a bit later to go to school, my father varies on his case, and now that my sister… well it depends on whether she is here in Singapore. So during the weekends, it’s nice to have a family breakfast, and my family loves waffles (personally, I prefer pancakes, but oh well). I used this babble site’s vanilla bean waffles.

Red Velvet Cupcakes

One of the major cupcake trends are: red velvet cupcakes. Personally, I don’t even know what is so great about them, and I completely understand why Florian (Cupcakes Wars!) is so tired of them. Chocolate Tart

This week, I used Stephanie Jaworski’s (Joy Of Baking) recipe to make a chocolate tart (or pie). She calls it a pie, while I call it a tart since my crust is shallow and I baked it in a tart pan (my peers call it a tart as well, so I just call it that as well).

I had two helpers, which really helped with my picture-taking, since I am usually grabbing an equipment while trying to snap a good photo.

Sinful Chocolate Brownie Cupcake

So my sister is leaving for Melbourne in a few days, and she demanded I make her favourite: brownie cupcake. This is pretty much a chocolate cupcake, and I call it a brownie cupcake simply because it has that cracked surface that reminds me of brownies, not because it is fudgy and dense- that would be too filling. However, an extra step you can do is to add in some melted chocolate into the centre (which my sister loves).
