So, I suddenly had an urge to eat chocolate pudding, but I since I had time, I decided to make them cute. This is my end product: Rilakkuma chocolate pudding!
My IB exam has ended! This means that I can start baking again! Since my friend is a Harry Potter fan, and her birthday party was coming, I decided to bake her some owl cupcakes! Hedwig cupcakes to be more precise!
I discovered I had a whole packet of mini chocolate chips, and didn’t know what to do with them. So I decided to make my vanilla cupcakes and added in the mini chocolate chips for an extra treat. Topped with delicious simple chocolate buttercream. Such a lovely combination!
One thing that intimidated me was caramel. I have watched numerous cooking shows (e.g Masterchef) and read countless recipes saying how precise and difficult caramel-making is, hence I have always strayed away from this delicious sauce. By now I know how exaggerated these shows are, and decided to conquer my salted caramel fear.
So, a family friend gave us a huge bunch of Maldivian bananas, which are so much smaller than regular ones but so much more fragrant! Sadly, they ripen really really quickly, so what do you do with overripe bananas? Bake with them!
This muffin is pretty much my childhood. My mother was the baker of the house, and she would always make this treat for us kids to devour. This is her recipe, and I am so happy to share it with you guys, as this was the first thing I have ever baked.
